Converse has partnered up with avant-garde French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela to create the most unique sneakers that dropped in 2014.
The high top version of this sneaker features a premium leather Chuck Taylor All Star shoe, however each pair is hand-painted in the iconic Maison Martin Margiela white paint. The paint covers every aspect of the shoe including the eyelets, laces and soles. During regular wear they slowly begin to crack and reveal their original colours. Similar to raw denim, with regular use these shoes will adapt to the owners lifestyle making every single pair unique.
We got our hands on a pair thanks to the Livestock Warehouse Sale for $125 CAD (originally $250).
Take a look at the gallery below for some detailed pictures.
Out with the old, in with the new.
Livestock is no stranger when it comes to high quality streetwear. Their Vancouver locations are clearing out their past year’s styles to prepare for their upcoming 2015 collections. Expect to see brands such as Nike, Palace, Reigning Champ as well as many other brands up to 70% off.
